Revenue Cycle Solutions That Help Healthcare Practices Thrive
Zaara Solutions was founded by two revenue cycle professionals who know Oklahoma's healthcare billing landscape from the inside. Our team has spent years working directly with claims, providers, and payer systems across the state — which means we don't come to your practice guessing at what's going wrong. We've seen firsthand the range of ways Oklahoma providers lose revenue across the billing cycle, from the point a patient is scheduled through final payment, and we know how to trace a problem back to its actual root cause rather than treating a symptom.
That inside perspective is exactly what sets Zaara apart. We're not a generic billing consultancy applying a one-size-fits-all playbook — we understand the specific patterns, payer behaviors, and administrative friction points that affect independent practices in this state, and we bring that knowledge directly into every audit and recommendation we make. If your revenue cycle isn't performing the way it should, we already have a strong sense of where to look.
Let’s Talk
Revenue Cycle Consulting Services
-
A full audit of your revenue cycle — from patient registration through payment posting — that pinpoints exactly where claims and cash are getting stuck. We review every stage against industry best practices to identify where your workflows are falling short of what a well-run revenue cycle should look like. This isn't a generic checklist review — it's an assessment grounded in real payer and provider experience, applied specifically to how your practice operates today. The result is a clear, prioritized picture of where the opportunities are and what's realistic to fix first.
-
Full analysis of non-payments to identify patterns and isolate the root causes driving most of your write-offs. We draw on extensive, hands-on experience across both the payer and provider sides of the claims process to recognize denial patterns that a generic review would miss. Rather than treating each denial as an isolated incident, we trace recurring issues back to their source — whether that's coding, documentation, eligibility, or a workflow gap — to identify real opportunities to reduce denials going forward. The result is a specific, actionable plan to fix what's driving your write-offs today and prevent the same issues from recurring.
-
We review your payer contracts and fee schedules against what you're actually being paid, line by line. This comparison surfaces discrepancies where reimbursements fall short of contracted rates, as well as broader opportunities to maximize what you're entitled to collect. We flag where you're being underpaid outright, and separately, where contract terms themselves are leaving money on the table and could be renegotiated to your advantage. The result is a clear picture of where your reimbursement is falling short today and where you have real leverage to improve it going forward.
-
We review how your EHR and practice-management system are set up for billing — coding workflows, fee schedules, and claim scrubbing rules. Many revenue cycle problems don't stem from staff performance at all, but from system configurations that were never fully optimized for how your practice actually bills. We identify these quietly damaging gaps, whether it's an outdated fee schedule, a missing scrubbing rule, or a workflow that routes claims incorrectly before they're ever submitted. The result is a clear list of configuration fixes that reduce denials and delays without requiring any change in how your staff works day to day.
-
We manage the entire credentialing and payer enrollment process on your behalf, from initial application through final approval. Our team collects and verifies your required documentation, sets up and maintains your CAQH profile, and submits and tracks applications with each payer you need to join. We handle every follow-up with insurance companies directly, so nothing sits waiting in a queue while you're left wondering about status. Once you're in-network, we keep your credentialing current through ongoing re-credentialing and revalidation, so you never lapse out of a payer network without knowing it.
-
Once we've identified the gaps, we train your billing staff directly on the fixes — so the improvements stick after the audit ends, instead of relying on us to keep catching the same errors. Training is hands-on and specific to your practice's actual workflows, not a generic billing course. We also keep your team current on relevant industry updates — coding changes, payer policy shifts, and regulatory requirements — and how each one affects your billing in practice. The goal is a billing staff that can recognize and prevent issues on their own, long after our engagement ends.
Who We Are
Sana Mohammed
AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) · AAPC Certified Professional Biller (CPB) · Project Management Professional (PMP)
Sana Mohammed founded Zaara Solutions to give independent practices the kind of revenue cycle expertise that's usually reserved for large health systems.
Her background spans both sides of the billing relationship. She's managed day-to-day revenue cycle operations and led billing teams directly — running coding accuracy audits, provider credentialing, and reimbursement analysis as a Medical Billing Manager for both a multi-provider behavioral health organization and an independent practice. She's also worked the payer side, in provider relations and network operations for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Oklahoma Complete Health, resolving escalated claims issues, training staff on compliance standards, and partnering directly with practices to fix the workflows causing denials in the first place.
That dual perspective is the point: Sana has seen exactly where claims get stuck on the payer side, and exactly how the day-to-day chaos of running a practice makes it hard to fix on the provider side. She holds AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credentials, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and has hands-on experience across Epic, Oracle Health, AdvancedMD, and EDI/provider portal systems — so she isn't learning your software while working your account.
James Hardwick
James Hardwick brings more than 25 years of healthcare claims and revenue cycle leadership to Zaara Solutions, with a career built almost entirely on the payer side of the reimbursement relationship — and a provider-side foundation that most payer executives never get.
James Hardwick brings more than 25 years of healthcare claims and revenue cycle leadership to Zaara Solutions, with a career built primarily on the payer side of the reimbursement relationship. He began in hands-on provider billing, working aged claims and following up directly with insurance companies, before spending nearly two decades at Aetna and CVS Health, where he progressed from claims examiner through Claim Supervisor to Project Lead and, ultimately, Consultant and automation subject matter expert. During that time, he served as a lead on a major claims system migration and helped scale Medicare claims automation initiatives that delivered significant net revenue and cost savings for the organization. That combination of early provider-side billing work and extended payer-side operational leadership gives him a working understanding of both ends of the claims lifecycle.
From there, James moved into risk adjustment and regulatory reporting, directing Medicare Advantage and ACA risk adjustment for a regional health plan before stepping into his current role managing claims and encounter operations for a state Medicaid managed care plan. In that capacity, he has sustained 100% SLA compliance on encounter production, protecting significant revenue from potential penalty exposure. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, completed while working full-time in a claims leadership role, and is fluent across the analytics tools that power modern revenue cycle work. This blend of provider-side instincts and payer-side regulatory depth is what he brings to every Zaara engagement.
